V is an 1983 NBC mini-series about an extraterrestrial race known as Visitors who land on Earth. They are seemingly friendly and create a mutually beneficial agreement with government officials and citizens around the world. However, some people come to learn that the Visitors may not be as benevolent as they appear. A group of rebels and scientists form the Resistance. They are humankind’s best chance at survival.

V got a sequel mini-series The Final Battle, and a 19 episode television series, both of which aired in 1984.
