Rob and Le Gault talk about United Artists on the first episode of their exploration into Studios.
This one was kind of boring for me.
United Artists was founded in February of 1919 by Hollywood elites, Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, and D.W. Griffith, who wanted more creative control of their films.
United Artists produced and distributed films until 1951 when it sold it's studio off and just continued to distribute until 1981 when it merged with MGM.
